Visitors With Mobility Impairments
- Wheelchair accessible parking is available adjacent to the Museum.
- The Museum’s main entrance is accessible by ramp
- A limited number of wheelchairs are available for public use at no cost on a first-come-first-serve basis. Wheelchairs can be found in the Museum’s first floor coatroom, or ask at the Information Desk in the lobby.
- All of the Museum’s galleries are accessible to wheelchair users and those who need to avoid stairs. Each of the four floors is reachable by both of our two elevators.
Visitors With Hearing Impairments
The Museum’s auditorium is equipped with assisted listening devices. Please ask at the Information Desk on the first floor for headsets.- A transcript of the Museum’s audio tour is available free of charge to hearing impaired individuals at the Information Desk on the first floor.
Visitors With Visual Impairments
The Museum’s audio tour is available to visually impaired visitors at no cost. Wands are available at the Information Desk in the first floor lobby.- Tactile tours of the Museum’s collections are available with advance registration. Please call the Museum at (508) 853-6015 ext. 20, and allow at least 2 weeks notice.
