2006 Higgins Faire
The King and Queen cordially request your presence at the 2006 Higgins Faire!
Saturday, June 17, 2006 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Enter the medieval world right at 10 a.m. with a procession
from our parking lot to the front door led by the Worcester Fire Brigade Pipes & Drums and the King and Queen.
The day's festivities will include:
- The Singing Ringing Tree (an interactive puppet show)
- nationally-acclaimed storytelling by Angela Cay Klinger
- palm reading by Melissa Nelson
- fire juggling and eating by Kyan Le Pepper
- wandering magic with Ed the Wizard
- period music by A Goodlie Companye
- Chess Challenge with the Worcester Chess Club

Not enough? Visit the conservation lab,
interact with Viking Warriors, Roman Legionaries and armored knights, have your face painted, enjoy balloon art with Jason
Kallio, make a pennant or metal pin, and definitely don't leave without being knighted by the King and Queen (certificate included)!
Hot dogs, pizza by the slice, snacks and
drinks will be available in Crusader Café. Medieval and Renaissance dress encouraged (no historical replica weapons
of any type will be admitted into the Museum).
Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for children 6-16 and free for children 5 and under and includes EVERYTHING except café and shop purchases.
Please note that Higgins Faire is a fundraiser for the Museum; no free admission passes or other discounts will apply this day only.
