April 17th marks the opening of the special exhibit From Anvil to Microscope: Modern Metallography and The Ancient Secrets of Sword Making. This exhibit features interactive components allowing visitors to experience the cutting edge of history and unlock the mysteries of the pre-industrial sword smith through the techniques of modern metallography.
Higgins Armory is the place to be for April Vacation. The museum will be open on Monday and feature its regular programs Hands on History, Story Time, and Arming a Knight, along with some exciting special programs.

- Larry Keating and live birds of prey “Falconry Show” featuring Kestrel falcons, Red-tailed hawks and more

- Ed the Wizard live show in the auditorium
