Please join us on Thursday May 8th at 6pm to watch as our celebrity fencers compete to win the coveted “Higgins Armory Museum Golden Foil”. A group of Local Celebrities and business people have agreed to come together and fence in order to raise funds for the Higgins Armory Museum. Topping our list is the Honorable Konstantina Lukes, Mayor of the city of Worcester. Not to be out done by the Mayor, City Councilor Joff Smith will also compete. WCRN Radio is well represented by both Hank Stolz and Christina Adrianopolous. Jeannie Hebert, President of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, John Guertin, President of Guertin Graphics and two of our own board of trustees, Russ Milholland and Tim Daly will round out the group of Competitors.

The evening will feature the tournament, a 50/50 raffle, fencing lessons, and our signature cocktail the Foiltini. As if that were not enough, Emcee Jeremy Bell has agreed to host the event, on the condition that he could compete.

Please show your support by buying a ticket to watch the festivities or - if you are daring - buy a chance to fence against the opponent of your choice, or even purchase a chance to enter the tournament and win the Higgins Armory Museum Golden Foil for yourself.

Ticket costs are $50 admission, $100 for a lesson and a bout, and $150 to enter the tournament. If you cannot make the event, please show your support with a sponsorship; Fencer Sponsor $50, Marshal Sponsor $100, and Director Sponsor $150. There are a limited amount of tickets, so reserve your tickets now at www.higgins.org, or call (508) 853-6015.
