Annual Appeal Campaign
The Annual Appeal Campaign kicks off Monday, October 1, 2001 with a letter from Development Committee co-chairs Mayo Morgan and James Knight. The Appeal invites all members, foundations, and friends of the Higgins to support the Museum's programs and activities with an annual gift.
The Museum's ability to maintain and expand its programs and activities is directly related to the success of the Annual Appeal. A gift to the Annual Appeal provides crucial support to the museum's renowned programs in education and historical interpretation, in addition to assisting to preserve its priceless collections. We appeal to all friends to support the Higgins Armory Museum - a true national treasure.
High-level donors ($1,000 and above) become members of the Renaissance Society and enjoy the considerable benefits of its membership. An Annual Appeal Telethon will be held in November, to contact all donors who have not responded to the letter. In the Spring of 2002, a final letter of request will be mailed, to encourage participation in the Annual Appeal.
