Director's Message: Fall 2005

Happy fall! It's back-to-school season, but it's also one of the busiest times of the year at the Higgins. From the annual Festival of Ale and Knightmare at the Higgins events to the new Champagne Sabering workshop and ongoing weekend programming, this issue of Calendar is filled with fun things to do!

We've had a change in the Education and Public Programs Department! Neal Bourbeau (pictured) is the team's new Program and Outreach Manager. Neal brings extensive experience as an interpreter from previous positions at Old Sturbridge Village and Old New Gate Prison, and was on staff here at the Higgins as an interpreter since November of 2004. His primary responsibilities include developing new programs, overseeing the content of current programs and managing the interpreter and outreach staff. Congratulations!
