Virtual Exhibitions
As part of an ongoing collaboration between the Higgins Museum and WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute), students from WPI are producing
a series of virtual exhibitions. These student-created exhibitions will greatly increase public access to the museum's holdings, and serve as

New Virtual Exhibitions
- Higgins Collection Online The culmination of multiyear project, this searchable
database includes the entire Higgins collection, with images and information for over 4000 artifacts.
Prior Virtual Exhibitions
- The Techniques of Medieval Armored Combat
This site offers a survey of the armored combat skills of the medieval knight, with footage of reconstructed techniques based on surviving treatises from the 1400s.
- Modeling the Joust A historical study of the joust with technical analysis of
the physics involved.
