Salle d'Armes Class

10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Have you ever wondered what it is like to wield the knightly longsword or the musketeer's deadly rapier? At the Higgins Academy of the Sword you will receive expert instruction in rapier, longsword, and dueling sabre, as well as the classical forms of modern fencing weapons. We invite you to join a growing community of men and women exploring the art, science, and spirit of the sword in a safe, progressive system of instruction. Build overall fitness and coordination as you learn living swordplay traditions handed down from the days when a person's life might depend on their skill with a blade.

Class meets every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 and Saturday mornings from 10:30 to noon. Monthly tuition rate of $100 applies. Individual classes are $20 each. The class is open to age 16 and up. No equipment is required.
