
Our Reservation Coordinator will see if the program you have requested is available on the dates you request. If there are no conflicts, a Tentative Reservation will be made based on the information you have provided. A confirmation of this reservation will be sent to you at the email address you provide. Your reservation is not officially confirmed until you have received a confirmation from us and we have received a $50 non-refundable deposit. If the program you request is not available on the dates listed, our Reservation Coordinator will contact you at the email address you provide to discuss your options.
All requests are processed in the order they are received. Please allow up to 4 business days for reservation processing. If you have any questions, please contact the Education Department at (508) 853-6015, ext. 20.
Group Visit Guidelines and Reservation Policies
- To book your field trip, use the Field Trip Form below or contact the Education Department at (508) 853-6015 x20, higgins@higgins.org.
- Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance and a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Please note April-June is our busiest season: please reserve early.
- A minimum of 10 people is required to book a group visit to the Museum. We require a ratio of 1 chaperone per 10 students for all School and Youth groups.
- Some group programming is only available Tuesday - Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. During the school year a 9 am start time can sometimes be arranged. Please call for program availability on weekends.
- If your group is 15 minutes late or more in arriving, you may be required to forfeit part of your programming out of courtesy to our next arriving group.
- There are no lunch room facilities on site. Please call for details about local restaurants and outdoor areas.
- Teachers are encouraged to preview the Higgins Armory Museum before their class visit. Contact the Education Department for a complimentary teacher's admission pass.
- The Museum is fully ADA accessible. Hands-On Tours for the visually challenged, and listening devices are available upon prior request. Contact (508) 853-6015, ext 20, for more details.
- Benefits of membership, including discounts and free admission, do not apply to group tours or programs. Complimentary Passes also do not apply to groups.
- Only children who are age 2 and under are admitted free when visiting as part of a group.
