Education programs at Higgins bring armor — and the people who wore it — to life. From the legendary warriors of ancient Rome, to the knights of the Middle Ages and the swordplay of the Age of Chivalry, students see live presentations of the history of armor, take guided tours of the collection, and participate in hands-on activities. And it all happens right here in Worcester, amidst one of the most significant collections of arms and armor in the world.
Every field trip is based on our presentation titled "The Ages of Armor," and can be customized with special programs and electives. Field trip group rates are available for ten or more participants (1 adult chaperone required for every 10 students). Explore what Higgins has to offer to your grade.
