Siege the Day!

Come over to the Higgins 4th Annual Siege the Day event to see live catapult contests in our parking lot. All the would-be warlords of the realm will be here to show off their siege machines and compete for first place in accuracy, engineering, and more. You might even bump into a medieval soldier or two. After checking that out, you can go inside to see all the other stuff real knights used to capture (or defend) castles!

Call for Teams: The Higgins Armory Museum invites you to participate in Siege the Day, our 4th annual trebuchet contest on Saturday May 4th, 2013! Gather your friends to build a real working medieval catapult, then bring your creation to the museum for a day of outdoor competitive fun. Prizes are given for accuracy, historical construction, modern engineering, style and more. Wear a costume if you want… no one knows why, but costumed teams do better!
